Star Jones is President and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and the Professional Diversity Network (PDN). Ms. Jones leads a nationwide team that supports and advocates for the PDN and the NAPW. She also directs PDN and NAPW’s development and programming strategy. Finally, she serves as the PDN’s brand ambassador. Ms. Jones began her career as a Senior District Attorney. Expanding her reach, Ms. Jones worked in television as a Legal Correspondent, Commentator and Analyst. She was also co-host of ABC’s The View for nine years.

Ms. Jones has written two best-selling books: You Have to Stand for Something, or You’ll Fall for Anything and Shine: A Physical, Emotional & Spiritual Journey to Finding Love . Her third book, Satan’s Sisters , is being developed into a network television movie and series. Since 2011, Ms. Jones has been a National Volunteer for the American Heart Association and has lobbied Congress on their behalf. Ms. Jones is an expert on diversity and inclusion, women’s health, and women’s empowerment. A highly sought after motivational speaker, she frequently lectures on law, politics, race, gender equality, networking, women’s empowerment, pop culture, fitness and heart health.
